I'm Tommy. Or you can call me Mr. Adventure. 😎 My chosen purpose in life is to see and feel as much as I can. I've been doing work exchange in Taiwan since 2019 and I'm so thrilled my journey has now taken me to lovely, comfy Owl Hostel at Sun Moon Lake. There's just something different about walking out the door and seeing a sylvan lake in front of your eyes. Every day living here is a chance to see a new face of the lake and the surrounding mountains. My favorite time of day is sunset, as the sun's glow reflects on the lake's surface and the sun slowly disappears behind the tall trees standing sentinel around the lake. These are the moments that make me feel lucky to be alive. I have a relationship with the lake, and with this place, that is unique and cannot be understood by others. I believe everybody who comes here will develop their own personal relationship with the lake and mountains, and will feel the allure of this majestic body of water. This is, after all, famous Sun Moon Lake. So what are you waiting for?
